Who We Are

About DSM Radon Lab

DSM Radon Lab was created to provide straightforward, professional radon testing focused on accurate measurement, clear communication, and a better customer experience.

A Local Business Built Around Better Testing

DSM Radon Lab started after purchasing several consumer radon monitors for our home in Beaverdale and receiving wildly inconsistent results, ranging from under 3 pCi/L to over 20 pCi/L in the same environment. That experience made it clear how important proper testing procedures, professional equipment, and standardized measurement practices really are.

We built DSM Radon Lab to combine accurate testing with honest, practical education. Living in Iowa, where radon levels are among the highest in the country, we believe homeowners deserve clear information, straightforward answers, and an independent source of guidance they can trust.

We are tested by the National Radon Safety Board, licensed by the Iowa Department of Health & Human Services (Cert# RNTST10282), and follow testing protocols determined by the EPA. We use top-of-the-line equipment and calibrate regularly per NRSB, EPA and Iowa HHS standards.
